Analysis of existing host-based intrusion detection systems
Abstract:
Tato práce se věnuje analýze možností detekce průniku na hostitelských systémech. Jsou zjištěny dostupné metody a jejich funkčnost je ověřena na programech OSSEC a Samhain. Na závěr je vytvořeno doporučení, jaké vlastnosti by měl hostitelský systém detekce průniku obsahovat.
Abstract:
This thesis is dedicated to the analysis of options for host intrusion detection systems. Available methods are identified and their functionality is verified with the OSSEC and Samhain programs. In conclusion, the recommendation which properties host intrusion detection system should contain is created.
