Web Application for Aggregation of Healthcare Documentation

Abstract:

Cílem diplomové práce je ve spolupráci s firmou C Solution navrhnout a realizovat webovou aplikaci klinického portálu. Aplikace bude integrována do stávajícího nemocničního softwaru vybraných zdravotnických zařízení a bude sloužit zdravotnickým pracovníkům k efektivnímu prohlížení a přístupu k pacientské dokumentaci. Existence portálu zjednoduší přístup k dokumentaci pacientů a oproti systémům NIS (Nemocniční informační systém) poskytne možnost zobrazení dokumentů z jiných zdravotnických zařízení. Teoretická část práce se zaměřuje na problematiku elektronizace zdravotnictví, výměny dat a zdravotnických standardů. V praktické části byly provedeny analýzy a na základě výsledků bylo rozhodnuto o implementaci aplikace s minimálními finančními náklady pomocí neplacených a pro firmu nových technologií. Práce dále zahrnuje výběr vhodných technologií, návrh, samotnou implementaci a testování. Výsledná aplikace je realizována s ohledem na zavedení standardu HL7 FHIR jako základního standardu pro reprezentaci zdravotních informací v rámci EU.

Abstract:

The aim of the thesis is to design and implement a web application of a clinical portal in collaboration with C Solution. The application will be integrated into the existing hospital software of selected healthcare facilities and will serve healthcare professionals to efficiently view and access patient records. The existence of the portal will simplify access to patient documentation and provide the ability to view documents from other healthcare facilities, compared to traditional Hospital Information Systems (HIS). The theoretical part of the thesis focuses on the issues of computerisation of healthcare, data exchange and healthcare standards. The practical phase involved analyses, leading to the decision to implement the application with minimal financial costs using unpaid and new technologies for the company. The thesis also includes the selection of appropriate technologies, design, actual implementation and testing. The resulting application is implemented with a regard to the introduction of the HL7 FHIR standard as the core standard for health information representation within the EU.
