Práce se zabývá problematikou údržby v podniku po stránce strategické a stránce takticko-operativní. Nejprve jsou definovány pojmy údržba a opotřebení. Další části práce jsou věnovány managementu údržby. Nejprve z hlediska strategického plánování, na které navazuje hledisko taktického plánování a operativního plánování.
