Utilising fables in education of preschool-aged children

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá využitím žánru bajka v práci s dětmi předškolního věku. Práce je teoreticko-aplikační. Cílem práce je navrhnout a zrealizovat didaktický projekt. V teoretické části práce je psáno o přínosu literatury v předškolním věku, o oblastech rozvoje dítěte, které jsou rozvíjeny didaktickým projektem v praktické části práce. Jsou jimi zejména předčtenářská a literární gramotnost, jazyk a řeč. Zmiňuje se zde také promítnutí cílů Rámcového vzdělávacího programu předškolního vzdělávání do didaktického projektu. Dále jsou představeny typy použitých aktivit v praktické části práce. Poslední kapitoly jsou věnovány tématu bajky a autorům bajek, jejichž publikace jsou využívány v didaktickém projektu. V rámci praktické části je navržen a následně realizován didaktický projekt. Jde o práci s osmi bajkami, zpracovanými čtyřmi různými autory. Ke každé bajce jsou navrženy různorodé aktivity, z nichž je poté sestaven didaktický blok, který je s dětmi zrealizován.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with ways we can use fables in work with preschool-aged children. The thesis is both of theoretical and practical approach. The goal of the thesis is presenting and consequently realising a didactic project. Theoretical part of the thesis writes about benefits of literature in preschool age, about the areas of child development that are used in the didactic project. These are mainly preschool literacy skills, language, and speech. Besides that, the thesis is focused on the connection between the didactic project and the goals of the Framework Educational Programme for Preschool Education. Furthermore, types of activities are presented in the practical part of the thesis, which are used in the didactic project. Last but not least, the thesis deals with the idea of fable and its writers, whose publications are used in the didactic project. In the practical part of the thesis the didactic project is presented and consequently realised. Eight fables written up by four different writers are utilised. For every fable in the didactic project, there are various suggested activities put together to form a didactic block. Eventually, the didactic block is realised with preschool-aged children.
