Water in the Landscape - A Comprehensive Landscape Analysis of the Cadastral Area of Bořetice with Emphasis on the Water Regime of the Area

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou vodního režimu v krajině, konkrétně krajinářskou analýzou katastru obce Bořetice. Cílem práce je vyhodnocení přírodních a ekologických hodnot území a návrh opatření pro zlepšení vodního režimu. Práce je členěna do tří hlavních částí. První, teoretická část se věnuje vývoji vodních toků a ploch v souvislosti se zemědělstvím České republice. Zaměřuje se na historický vývoj i současný stav vodního hospodářství a navrhované varianty řešení souvisejících problémů, přičemž zvláštní důraz je kladen na situaci v obci Bořetice. Druhá analytická část hodnotí primární, sekundární a terciární strukturu krajiny a identifikuje její hodnoty a problematické aspekty, přičemž využívá SWOT analýzu. Třetí, návrhová, část se zaměřuje na revitalizaci vodních toků a ploch včetně dalších krajinotvorných prvků v katastru obce Bořetice. Jsou zde navrženy opatření přispívající ke zlepšení vodního režimu a ke zvýšení ekologické stability intenzivně využívané zemědělské krajiny.

Abstract:

This bachelor’s thesis addresses the issue of the water regime in the landscape, with a specific focus on the landscape analysis of the cadastral area of the municipality of Bořetice. The aim of the thesis is to evaluate the natural and ecological values of the area and to propose measures for improving the water regime. The thesis is divided into three main parts. The first part is theoretical and discusses the development of watercourses and water bodies in relation to agriculture in the Czech Republic. It examines both the historical development and the current state of water management, proposing various solutions to related problems, particularly with regard to the situation in the municipality of Bořetice. The second part is analytical and evaluates the primary, secondary, and tertiary structures of the landscape. It identifies its values and problematic aspects using a SWOT analysis. The third part is design-oriented, focusing on the revitalization of watercourses and water bodies, as well as other landscape-forming elements within the cadastral area of Bořetice. This section proposes measures aimed at improving the water regime and increasing the ecological stability of the intensively used agricultural landscape.
