OPEC je obecně přijímán za nejúspěšnější komoditní kartel. Otázkou zůstává, do jaké míry je toto přesvědčení opodstatněné. Cílem této práce je proto poskytnout detailní pohled na OPEC jako aktéra mezinárodních vztahů, abychom mohli kvalifikovaně zhodnotit výkony této mezinárodní organizace. OPEC is conventionally regarded as the most successful commodity cartel. The question is, whether this belief is well-founded. The objective of this article is to competently evaluate OPECs performance by providing a detailed view of this international organization as an actor in international relations.
