The Effectiveness of Resocialisation of Clients in Institutional Protection Care.

Abstract:

Diplomová práce nastiňuje problematiku resocializace dětí ve školských zařízeních pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy. Teoretická část práce se zabývá oblastmi výchovy a socializace dětí a mladistvých. V jednotlivých kapitolách je přiblížena náhradní rodinná péče a s ní spojená ústavní a ochranná výchova a její legislativní zakotvení, dále pak systém ústavní výchovy se zaměřením na činnost vybraného zařízení pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy. Osvětlena je problematika sociální patologie, delikvence mládeže a kriminality. Definovány na odborné úrovni jsou termíny - resocializace, etopedie a převýchova. Cílem praktické části práce je zjistit, jaká je úspěšnost resocializace dětí ve školských zařízeních pro výkon ústavní a ochranné výchovy ve Střílkách a Chvalčově v návaznosti na páchání trestné činnosti. Využita je jednak výzkumná metoda analýza dokumentů a policejních evidencí, kterou je zjištěno, v jaké míře chlapci propuštěni z výchovných ústavů páchají úmyslnou trestnou činnost, jakých trestných činů se dopouštějí a zda se trestné činnosti dopouštějí opakovaně. Za pomoci výzkumné metody rozhovoru je pak zjišťován postoj pedagogických pracovníků z výchovných ústavů k procesu resocializace v jejich zařízení, v čem vidí zásadní problémy a kde by hledali změny.

Abstract:

This thesis outlines the issues of social resocialization of children in educational facilities for institutional and protective education. The theoretical part of the thesis deals with areas of education and socialization of children and adolescents. Each chapter introduces substitutional family care, the associated institutional and protective education and its legislative basis. Then the theoretical part describes the system of institutional care and focuses on the activities of the selected facilities for institutional and protective education. The issue of social pathology, delinquency and juvenile crime are clarified and the terms such as esocialization, ethopedy and re-education are defined on the professional level. The aim of the practical part is to find out the success of resocialization of children in school facilities for institutional and protective education in Střílky and Chvalčov in relation to committing crimes. The research method document analysis and police registers is used. Using this method it is found, what extent the boys released from the educational institutions commit intentional crime, what crimes they commit and whether they commit crimes repeatedly.Using the interview I find position of educational staff in educational institutions to the process of resocialization in their facility, where they see major problems and where they would look for changes.
