Possibilities of influencing painful conditions in pregnancy

Abstract:

Jako téma bakalářské práce jsem si zvolila možnosti ovlivnění bolestivých stavů vzniklých v těhotenství. V rámci odborných praxí jsem měla možnost pracovat s těhotnými ženami a práce s nimi byla vždy příjemná. Tato specifická skupina pacientek mě velice oslovila a ráda bych se ji i v budoucnu více věnovala. Cílem mé práce je za využití fyzioterapeutických konceptů a metod pozitivně ovlivnit bolestivé projevy fyziologických změn, které se v organismu těhotné ženy vyskytují, a tím vybrané pacientce pomoci k prožití klidného a bezbolestného těhotenství. V teoretické části popisuji fyziologické změny, které mohou ovlivňovat posturu a pohybový aparát. Dále zmiňuji nejčastější poruchy pohybového aparátu a jejich prevenci. Závěrem teoretické části popisuji fyzioterapeutické metody a postupy, které je možno využít v praktické části bakalářské práce. V hlavní části práce využívám teoretických poznatků a výsledků vstupního vyšetření pro sestavení krátkodobého fyzioterapeutického plánu a jednotlivých terapií. Využila jsem metodiku rozhovoru pro zjištění anamnézy a subjektivních pocitů, dále vyšetření aspekcí pro zhodnocení postury a vyšetření chůze. Palpačním vyšetřením jsem si ozřejmila svalový tonus, trofiku, stav měkkých tkání a držení pánve. Dále jsem využila měření pro zjištění antropometrie a hybnosti páteře. Pro vyšetření hlubokého stabilizačního systému nebo funkce laterálních stabilizátorů pánve jsem využila speciální testy a zkoušky. Hlavním problémem, který pacientku L. K. trápil v průběhu celého těhotenství, byly bolesti spodních zad. Ty se nám dařilo mírnit natolik, aby pacientce nezpůsobovaly větší potíže ani s postupujícím těhotenstvím. Díky správně zvoleným fyzioterapeutickým metodám a postupům se nám také dařilo předcházet dalším obtížím, které běžně těhotné ženy trápí. Cíl mé práce se podařilo naplnit. Pacientka si společné terapie chválila. Naše spolupráce byla velmi příjemná a podpořila mé rozhodnutí i v budoucnu se věnovat fyzioterapii těhotných žen.

Abstract:

As a topic of my bachelor thesis I chose the possibilities of influencing painful conditions arising during pregnancy. During my professional experience I had the opportunity to work with pregnant women and working with them was always pleasant. This specific group of patients approached me and I would like to know more about it in the future. The aim the thesis is to use the physiotherapeutic concepts and methods to positively influence the painful manifestations of physiological changes that occur in the body of a pregnant woman and thus help selected patient to experience a calm and painless pregnancy. In the theoretical part I describe physiological changes that affect posture and locomotor system. Further I mention the most common disorders of the musculoskeletal system and their prevention. A teh and of the theoretical part I describe physiotherapeutic methods and procedures that can be used in practical part of the bachelor thesis. In the main part of the thesis I use theoretical knowledge and results of initial examination to create a short-term physiotherapeutic plan and individual therapies. From methodical procedures I used interviews to determine the medical history and subjective feelings, further aspection for posture evaluation and gait examination. By palpation I examinated muscular tone, trophics, soft tissue condition and pelvic posture. Next, I used measurements to determine anthropometry and spine momentum. I used also special tests and tests to investigate the deep stabilization system or the function of the lateral mast stabilizers. Lower back pain was the main problem that LK suffered during pregnancy. We were able to moderate them so that they do not cause more interest to the patient even with advancing pregnancy. Thanks to properly selected physiotherapeutic methods and procedures, we have also been able to prevent other problems that are common for pregnant women. The goal of my work was fulfilled. The patient praised joint therapies. Our cooperation was very pleasant and supported my decision in the future to focus on the physiotherapy of pregnant women.
