The influence of euro exchange rate on economic results of small and middle firms

Abstract:

Abstrakt Bakalářská práce je rozdělena do dvou částí. První část je věnovaná vymezení teoretických podkladů. Čtenář bude krátce seznámen s vývojem evropské měnové unie, počínaje jejím vznikem, jednotlivými etapami vývoje a současným stavem. Vymezím též seznam členů evropské měnové unie, argumenty PRO a PROTI – ne všichni souhlasí s tím, že společný měnový prostor a následně i jediná společná měna je správným krokem. Do práce je zahrnuta informace ohledně Maastrichtských kritérií, což je jakousi pomyslnou vstupenkou do Evropské Unie. Velká část teoretické části je věnována vývoji kurzu eura; od jeho vzniku (1999) až do roku 2010. Nezbytnou součástí této práce jsou grafy, tabulky a komentáře. Praktická část bakalářské práce se zabývá rozborem podniku, analýzou základních finančních ukazatelů a předpovědí těchto ukazatelů na základě výsledků dosažených v minulosti. Dále jsou popsané na straně jedné problémy, které vznikají v souvislosti s volatilitou kurzu a zároveň, na straně druhé možnosti obrany proti těmto problémům. Jednou z podstatných častí je tvorba modelu pro stanovení kritického kurzu a následný výpočet tohoto kurzu. Kromě toho též uvádím výhody, které přinese přijetí eura jako jediné společné měny.

Abstract:

Abstract This work consists of two parts. The first part is devoted to defining the theoretic materials. The development of the European Monetary Union (its creation, further development and current status) will be briefly introduced to the reader. And also we would like to introduce the list of members of the European Monetary Union, the *for* and *against* arguments, because not all of the members are agree that a common monetary union and single currency is a positive step. The work includes information about the Maastricht criteria, which are the entry ticket into the European Union. Also theoretical part is devoted to the Euro since its inception (1999) until year 2010. Charts, tables, comments are an integral part of this work. The practical part is devoted to an analysis of the company. Analysis of key financial indicators, the forecast figures that are based on the results which were achieved in the past. One of the essential parts of it to create a model for determining the critical exchange rate and the subsequent calculation of the course. In addition, it is important to gain, what will happen if the euro will become the single common currency.
