The influence of an experience with the cohabitation of parents on the attitude of an individual to matrimony and family

Abstract:

Tématem této bakalářské práce je vliv zkušenosti se soužitím rodičů na postoje jedince k manželství a rodině. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou a praktickou část. V teoretické části jsou rozpracovány klíčové pojmy tématu, tedy sociální vliv, typy soužití rodičů a postoje k manželství a rodině. Také je zde charakterizována populace vysokoškolských studentů, jejíž postoje jsou v této práci zkoumány. V praktické části jsou nastíněna metodologická východiska, na základě kterých bylo provedeno šetření a dále zde jsou uvedeny výsledky analýzy výzkumných dat. Ve výzkumu byl zjišťován vliv jednotlivých typů soužití rodičů na přijímání konkrétních postojů, které byly definovány v teoretické části. V analýze se projevila určitá tendence, která nasvědčuje tomu, že typ postoje jedince se do značné míry odvíjí od zkušenosti se soužitím rodičů. Téma vlivu rodiny se tak ukazuje jako oblast, které by měla být v teorii i praxi sociální práce věnována větší pozornost, jelikož může poskytnout podklad pro hlubší a komplexní posouzení životní situace klienta.

Abstract:

The theme of this bachelor thesis is the influence of an experience with the cohabitation of parents on the attitude of an individual to matrimony and family. This thesis is divided into theoretical and practical part. In the theoretical part are worked up the key conceptions of this theme, the social influence, the types of a cohabitation of parents and attitudes to the matrimony and family. There is a characterization of a population of college students, whose postures are in this thesis examined. In the practical part are adumbrated the methodological basis, on which grounds the research was made, and there are mentioned the outcomes of the analysis of the research. The main purpose of the research was to determine the influence of each types of the cohabitation of parents, on intake of the particular attitudes, which were defined in the theoretical part. It was manifested in the analysis that there is a certain tendency, which confirms the thesis that the attitude of an individual to matrimony is derivable in a considerable extent from the experience of the cohabitation of the parents. The theme of the influence of family is shown as a realm, to which should be pay close attention in the theory and in the practice of the social work as well. Since this could be the basis for a deep and complex assessment of the living situation of a client.
