Diplomová práce v teoretické části vymezuje pojem resilience a související pojmy resilience a její rizika v dětství a adolescenci. Dále se zaměřuje na východiska týkající se psychické odolnosti dětí a je zakončena kapitolou o institucionální péči, která je doplněna aktuálními výzkumy k dané problematice. The theoretical part of the thesis defines the concept of resilience and related concepts of resilience and its risks in childhood and adolescence. It then focuses on the background regarding children's psychological resilience and concludes with a chapter on institutional care, which is complemented by current research on the issue.
