Criminal Law and Procedural Aspects of the Position of Witness in Criminal Proceedings
Abstract:
Tato práce se zabývá postavením svědka v trestním řízení a popisuje tak práva a povinnosti svědků včetně následků spojených s porušením těchto povinností. Práce je dále zaměřena na možnosti a formy ochrany svědka pro případ nebezpečí, jež mu hrozí v souvislosti s jeho účastí na trestním řízení. Poslední část práce je věnována institutu korunního svědka a spolupracujícího obviněného.
Abstract:
This thesis deals with the role of witness in the criminal proceedings. First part of thesis describes rights and obligations of witnesses including the consequences of a breach of these obligations. Other part of thesis is focused on the possibilities of protection of witness if the witness is threatened in connection with his participation in the criminal proceedings.
