Support Measures As Viewed by the Students of Teaching Study Programmes

Abstract:

Diplomová práce „Podpůrná opatření pohledem studentů učitelství“ se zaměřuje zejména na problém, jak studenti navazujícího magisterského programu učitelství vnímají podpůrná opatření pro žáky se speciálními vzdělávacími potřebami, jak se staví ke zkratkám zaužívaným v oboru speciální pedagogiky, zda mají povědomí o osobách a pozicích vyskytujících se ve školních poradenských službách před absolvováním předmětu se speciálně pedagogickým zaměřením. Práce je rozdělena na teoretickou část, která přináší vhled do problematiky na základě současné legislativy a dostupné literatury, a praktickou část, která je založena na výzkumu problematiky u vysokoškolských studentů v prezenční i kombinované formě studia během 3 po sobě následujících semestrů. Pomocí dotazníků bylo zjišťováno, zda studenti předmětu Speciální pedagogika a pedagogická diagnostika mají znalosti a zkušenosti s oblastí speciální pedagogiky a jaké jsou jejich představy a myšlenkové pochody, jsou-li na tuto oblast dotázáni.

Abstract:

The Diploma Thesis named “Support Measures As Viewed by the Students of Teaching Study Programmes” primarily aims to describe the way that today’s students of Master study programme of Teaching perceive support measures for pupils with special educational and/or support needs, and how they understand the Czech abbreviations indented in the field of Special Education, and whether they are aware of people and positions which appear into the school counselling services before they complete the course focused on Special Education. The Thesis is divided into two parts: the Theoretical Part which allows insight into the topic from different points of view based on current legislation and secondary sources, and the Practical Part, which is based on university students and their perception of the subject during three consecutive terms. A probe has been conducted by the means of a questionnaire whether the participants of the Special Education and Educational Diagnostics course possess any degree of knowledge and experience in the field of Special Education, and what their ideas and thoughts are, should they be given questions regarding this area.
