Strategic Analysis and Formulation of the Strategy in a Selected Company

Abstract:

Teoretická část diplomové práce je zaměřena na vymezení teoretických východisek vztahujících se k problematice formulace strategie podniku na základě strategické analýzy. Praktická část diplomové práce je orientována na praktickou aplikaci teoretických východisek zpracovaných v rámci teoretické části. Důležitost problematiky, kterou se tato závěrečná práce zabývá, je dána z pohledu autora práce zejména skutečností, že dobře nastavené strategické řízení prezentuje podmínku, bez jejíhož splnění lze úspěchu v současném turbulentním a vysoce konkurenčním podnikatelském prostředí dosáhnout jen velmi obtížně. Cíle stanovené pro tuto závěrečnou práci mají následující podobu: • Definovat teoretická východiska využitelná pro praktickou část diplomové práce, • realizovat komplexní strategickou analýzu zvoleného podniku, • na základě výstupů strategické analýzy formulovat optimální strategii směřující ke zvýšení konkurenceschopnosti podniku. Pro zpracování této závěrečné práce byly využity především následující metody odborné práce: rešerše, komparace, kompilace, rozhovor, analýza a syntéza.

Abstract:

The theoretical part of the thesis is focused on the formulation of the theoretical background pertaining to the issue of strategy formulation on the basis of strategic analysis. The practical part of the thesis is focused on the application of theoretical foundations processed in the context of theoretical practice. The importance of this thesis covered by this final work deals with, is given from the perspective of the author, in particular, the fact that a well set strategic management presents a condition without whose fulfillment can be successful in today's turbulent and highly competitive business environment is very difficult to achieve. The targets set for this final work have the following form: • Define the theoretical background usable for the practical part of the thesis, • implement a comprehensive strategic analysis of the selected company, • based on the outcomes of the strategic analysis to formulate an optimal strategy aimed at increasing business competitiveness. For the preparation of this thesis were mainly used the following methods of professional work: research, comparison, compilation, discussion, analysis and synthesis.
