Alternative spaces to urban gardens

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou alternativních, netradičních prostorů a jejich využití jako městských zahrad. Autorka se zaměřuje na analýzu architektonických realizaci v nezvyklých prostorách a plochách a vyhodnocuje různorodost přístupu k těmto plochám v zahraničí a v České republice. Práce se dělí do tří částí, a to teoretické, analytické a praktické návrhové částí. V první části je provedeno vyhledávání, analyzování a dokumentování příkladů realizaci v alternativních prostorech v tuzemsku i zahraničí. Druha část se skládá z vlastních analýz zájmového území z hlediska přírodních, prostorových, funkčně-provozních a jiných faktorů. Třetí část vychází ze dvou předešlých částí a zahrnuje samotný návrh v rámci intenzivního městského prostoru, který reaguje na současné potřeby obyvatelstva.

Abstract:

This bachelor thesis deals with the issue of alternative, non-traditional spaces and their useas urban gardens. The author focuses on the analysis of architectural realizations in unusual spaces and areas and evaluates the diversity of approaches to these areas abroad and in the Czech Republic. The work is divided into three parts, theoretical, analytical and practical design parts. In the first part, examples of implementation in alternative spaces in the country and abroad are searched, analysed and documented. The second part consists of the actual analyses of the area of interest in terms of natural, spatial, functional and other factors. The third part is based on the two previous parts and includes the actual design within an intensive urban space that responds to the current needs of the population.
