Abstract:

Diplomová práce je věnována především funkcionálním rovnicím s více proměnnými. Míní se tím ty rovnice, ve kterých vystupuje větší počet volných nezávislých proměnných, než je počet proměnných v alespoň jedné neznámé hledané funkci (neznámých funkcí může být v jedné rovnici více). Úvodní kapitola pojednává obecně o funkcionálních rovnicích, jsou zde vysvětleny základní pojmy a vybudována základní teorie. Najdeme zde i zmínku o funkcionálních rovnicích s jednou proměnnou, kde se okrajově seznamujeme nejprve s teorií cyklů iterovaných funkcí a dále s metodou invariantů charakteristického zobrazení, která slouží k nalezení řešení těchto rovnic. Další (stěžejní) kapitola se podrobně zabývá nejznámjší představitelkou funkcionálních rovnic s více proměnnými, tzv. Cauchyovou rovnicí a jí příbuznými rovnicemi. Nejprve ji zkoumáme v klasické podobě a hledáme její spojité a nespojité řešení. Poté se zabýváme jejími třemi modifikacemi (logaritmickou, exponenciální a mocninnou). Další paragraf je věnován zobecněným Cauchyovým rovnicím, zejména Jensenově rovnici a vektorové a maticové Cauchyově rovnici. Poslední paragraf této kapitoly zkoumá Cauchyovu rovnici v komplexním oboru. V závěrečné kapitole, která pojednává o dalších funkcionálních rovnicích s více proměnnými, je nejvíce prostoru věnováno D'Alembertově rovnici. Poté jsou zkoumány i ostatní důležité rovnice, konkrétně Sincovova rovnice, Eulerovy homogenní rovnice a rovnice se složenými funkcemi.

Abstract:

The presented diploma thesis deals in particular with functional equations in several variables. It means equations that have a larger number of free independent variables than a number of variables in at least one unknown searched function (there can be more unknown functions in the equation). The introductory chapter deals in general with functional equations; the basic concepts are explained and the basic theory is established. We also mention functional equations in one variable, where we touch at first the theory of cycles of iterated functions, and later the method of invariants of characteristic mapping that serves as an instrument to locate the solution to these equations. The main chapter is concerned in details with the best - known representative of equations in several variables, so-called Cauchy's equation and related equations. At first we explore this equation in its classical shape and search for its continuous and discontinuous solution. Then we are concerned with the three modifications (logarithmical, exponential and powers modification). The following part is devoted to generalisations of Cauchy's equations, especially to Jensen's equation and vector and matrix Cauchy's equation. The last part of this chapter searches for Cauchy's equation in complex domain. The last chapter, which deals with further functional equations in several variables, is mostly devoted to D'Alembert's equation. Then we also explore other important equations, in particular Sincovov's equation, Euler's homogenous equations and equations with composite functions.
