The bachelor thesis is focused on the carbohydrates in human nutrition. The theoretical part contains information about carbohydrates and health risks, associated with increased intake of simple sugars and digestible starch. Bakalárska práca je zameraná na sacharidy v stravovaní súčasného človeka. V teoretickej časti sú spracované informácie o sacharidoch a zdravotných rizikách, spojených so zvýšeným príjmom jednoduchých sacharidov a stráviteľného škrobu.
