Problems of education of children in care of grandparents in the Ústí nad Labem

Abstract:

Bakalářská práce se zabývá problematikou spojenou s výchovou dětí svěřených prarodičům. Teoretická část je věnována rodině, jejím základním funkcím a problémům, které vedou ke svěření dětí do péče prarodičů. Dále pak poslání a roli prarodičů, výchovným problémům dětí. Mezi stěžejní kapitoly patří problémové chování, se kterými se prarodiče nejčastěji setkávají u svých vnoučat a instituce, které pomáhají prarodičům s řešením výchovných problémů. Praktická část je zaměřena na zjištění informovanosti prarodičů o možnosti využití institucí a služeb v Ústí nad Labem, při řešení výchovných problémů s vnoučaty. Dotazovány byly babičky z Ústí nad Labem ve věkové kategorii 50 60 let. Rozhovory nám pomohly zjistit, zda jsou prarodiče dostatečně informováni o nabídkách služeb a zda tyto služby a instituce využívají.

Abstract:

This bachelor work describes the issues connected to children who are raised by their grandparents. The theory part is focused on family and its basic functions and problems which leads children to be entrusted to grandparents care and also function and role of grandparents together with educational problems of the children. The main chapters are focused on problematic behaviur of grandchildren which their grandparents recognised the most and instituation which help them to solve the educational problems. Practical part is focused on survey to find out how grandparents are informed about possibility to find help with educational problems of their grandchildren at institutions of Ústí nad Labem town. The survey was done among grandmothers from Ústí nad Labem in age range 50-60. The interviews helped us to find out if grandparents are informed enough about provided services and if they use these institutions.
