Using Machine Learning at the Betting Market in the Sport Field
Abstract:
Cílem této práce je profitovat na živém fotbalovém sázkovém trhu pomocí strojového učení. Doposud se akademické práce věnovaly převážně předzápasovým sportovním sázkovým trhům. Pomocí přesnosti se porovnávají vytvořené modely s bookmakerem. Nejlepší model dosahoval o 2,84 % větší přesnosti než bookmaker. Abstract:
The goal of this thesis is to generate a profit in in-play betting markets using machine learning. Lots of academic works has focused mainly on pre match sports betting markets. The created models compared with the bookmaker using accuracy. The best model achieved 2,84 % higher accuracy than the bookmaker. Both created models reached a profit in the 2020/2021 season of the English Premier League.
