Influence of managerial leadership on employee performance and retention

Abstract:

Uhrová, K. Vliv manažerského vedení na výkon a retenci zaměstnanců Bakalářská práce. Brno: Mendelova univerzita v Brně, 2023 Cílem bakalářské práce je prokázat vliv manažerského vedení na výkon a retenci zaměstnanců ve vybrané mezinárodní společnosti. V práci se nachází literární rešerše objasňující základní pojmy související s tématem práce a následně obsahuje také výsledky provedeného výzkumu a jejich interpretaci. Výzkum má smíšený charakter a obsahuje zpracované výsledky z dotazníkového šetření obohacené o polostrukturované rozhovory se dvěma leadery. Na základě analýzy výsledků a odpovědí na stanovené výzkumné otázky a hypotézy jsou stanovená doporučení a návrhy, které by mohly vyřešit nebo zmírnit některé ze zjištěných nedostatků firmy. Celá empirická část práce je postavena na teoretických východiscích.

Brno: Mendel University in Brno, 2023 The aim of the Bachelor thesis is to demonstrate the impact of managerial leadership on employee performance and retention in a selected international company. The thesis contains a literature search clarifying the basic concepts re-lated to the topic of the thesis and then it also contains the results of the conducted research and their interpretation. The research is mixed in its character and con-tains the processed results from a questionnaire survey enriched by semi-structured interviews with two leaders. Based on the analysis of the results and responses to the identified research questions and hypotheses, recommendations and suggestions are set out that could address or mitigate some of the company's identified weaknesses. The entire empirical part of the thesis is built on theoreti-cal assumptions.
