Growing up a child of two countries with distinctly different cultures is not easy, all the more so if their past is marked by war. This bachelor thesis examines how trauma caused by feelings of non-acceptance is reflected in the writing of the Franco-Algerian writer Nina Bouraoui. Dětství prožíváné na pomezí dvou velmi odlišných kultur není vůbec jednoduché. Toto platí o to víc pokud, je minulost těchto zemí poznamenána válkou. Tato bakalářská práce zkoumá jak se traumata způsobená odmítáním společností odráží na tvorbě Alžírské spisovatelky Niny Bouraoui.
