Female fans through the eyes of men

Abstract:

Tato bakalářská práce se zabývá tím, jak muži, kteří jsou sportovní fanoušci a navštěvují dva konkrétní sport-bary v Jaroměři, vnímají ženy, které jsou sportovními fanynkami nebo divačkami. Součástí práce bude komparace zmíněných sport-barů. Také se v práci zabývám stručnou historií fanouškovství a rozdílem mezi sportovními diváky a sportovními fanoušky a v neposlední řadě také vlivem genderových stereotypů na toto téma. V práci vycházím z poznatků získaných z terénního výzkumu. V metodologii jsem spoléhala na kvalitativní výzkum, konkrétně na případovou studii, pozorování a rozhovory.

Abstract:

This bachelor´s thesis deals how men who are sports fans and visit regularly two particualar sport-bars in Jaroměř view woman´s fans or speactators. Part of the thesis will be comparison of the mentioned sport bars. Also I am concerned with a brief history of fans and the difference between sports spectators and sports fans and last but not least also the influence of gender stereotypes on this topic. The bachelor thesis is based on the knowledge gained from field research. In the methodology I relied on qualitative research, specifically case studies, observations and interviews.
