Abstract:

This bachelor thesis describes the process of starting up a fitness center in Chomutov region in the Czech Republic and is divided into two parts.The theoretical part includes description of the process of starting up a business in general, focusing mainly on small businesses, as well as it explains individual parts and key terms of the business plan. In this part, the structure and all attributes of the business plan are described as well. Furthermore, the first part includes information about the product and its marketing, pricing and distribution and and also mentions the problematic of financial and administrative part of business. Later, in the practical part, all the findings from the theoretical part are applied in an actual business plan, including its evaluation. Second part includes besides other things marketing and financial plan and PESTEL and SWOT analysis, thanks to which we find out what factors and how could affect business in the near future and also possible risks and opportunities of the starting business. Conclusion at the end of the thesis evaluates all of the above and includes recommendations from each chapter for realization of a particular project
