Lifestyle and way of life as sociological categories

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá životním stylem a životním způsobem jako sociologickými kategoriemi. V první teoretické části jsou vymezeny jednotlivé definice a pojmy, které s tímto tématem přímo souvisejí. Praktická část práce byla zaměřená na empirický výzkum, jehož cílem bylo poskytnout alespoň částečný přehled na životní způsob současné společnosti. Závěrem práce bylo možné konstatovat, že v práci uvedené závěry byly sice do určité míry ovlivněné velikostí výběrového souboru, přesto však umožnily si položit řadu otázek, týkající se stavu a povahy životního způsobu současné společnosti a přispět k objasnění sociologického pohledu na tuto problematiku.

Abstract:

The work deals with the lifestyle and way of life as sociological categories. In the first theoretic part are defined particular definitions and terms which are directly related to the topic. The practical part focused on empirical research, which aimed to provide at least a partial overview of the way of life of contemporary society. By the conclusion of the work could be claimed that the conclusions at work were influenced to some measure by a size of selective sample, but still allowed to ask a series of questions concerning the status and nature of the way of life of contemporary society and contribute to clarify the sociological view of this topic.
