Východiskem této práce je stručný popis Nařízení o dědictví, co do jeho principů, působnosti a vztahu k ostatním pramenům dědického práva s mezinárodním prvkem. Stěžejním bodem je pak srovnání evropského dědického osvědčení a rozhodnutí v dědických věcech z pohledu Nařízení, jakožto dvou možných cest k uplatnění práv a postavení osob v rámci dědictví s přeshraničním prvkem. The starting point of this thesis is a brief description of the Regulation (EU) No 650/2012 in terms of its principles, scope and relationship to other sources of international succession law.
