Value orientation of children from a children's home

Abstract:

Diplomová práce se zabývá analýzou hodnotové orientace dětí z dětského domova. Teoretická část se věnuje vymezení základních pojmů, jako je období dospívání, kde jsou uvedeny její základní změny v rámci biologického, psychického a sociálního vývoje. Dále se teoretická část zabývá hodnotami, hodnotovou orientací a jejími základními koncepty. V neposlední řadě je v teoretické části charakterizována ústavní výchova, dětský domov a jeho rizikové faktory na vývoj osobnosti jedince. Empirická část má podobu kvantitativního výzkumu. Kvantitativní výzkum je realizován pomocí dotazníku, který ve svých výzkumech použil P. Sak. Empirická část seznamuje čtenáře s výsledky výzkumného šetření, kterého se účastnily děti z dětských domovů ve věku od 12 do 18 let. Cílem této části je analyzovat systém hodnot a hodnotovou orientaci dětí z dětského domova. Výsledky vlastního šetření jsou základem pro modifikaci edukačního procesu v těchto zařízeních. Součástí práce jsou konkrétní závěry a doporučení pro praxi. Dosažené výsledky a stanovená doporučení lze využít v praxi sociální pedagogiky a dalších pedagogických disciplín.

Abstract:

The diploma thesis deals with the analysis of the value orientation of children from a children's home. The theoretical part deals with the definition of basic concepts, such as the period of adolescence, which lists its basic changes in biological, psychological and social development. Furthermore, the theoretical part deals with values, value orientation and its basic concepts. Last part of theoretical part characterizes institutional education, children's home and its risk factors for the development of an individual's personality. The empirical part takes the form of quantitative research. Quantitative research is carried out using a standardized questionnaire by P. Sak for measuring value orientation. The empirical part acquaints the reader with the results of a research survey in which children from children's homes aged twelve to eighteen participated. The aim of this part is to analyze the system of values and value orientation of children from a children's home. The results of our own research are the basis for the modification of the educational process in these facilities. Part of the work are specific conclusions and recommendations for practice. The achieved results and set recommendations can be used in the practice of social pedagogy and other pedagogical disciplines.
