Twisted complex structures

Abstract:

Uvažujme bandly komplexních algeber nad prostorem B. V nich je každý fíbr izomorfní algebře komplexních čísel C. Twistovaná komplexní struktura na reálném vektorovém bandlu nad B je potom struktura modulu nad takovým bandlem algeber. Cílem diplomové práce bylo systematicky vybudovat základní teorii twistovaných komplexních bandlů, definovat pro ně Chernovy třídy a odvodit vztah těchto nových tříd k již známým charakteristickým třídám.

Abstract:

Consider the bundles of complex algebras over the space B. In them, each fiber is isomorphic to the algebra of complex numbers C. A twisted complex structure on a real vector bundles over B is a module structure over such bundle of algebras. The aim of this thesis is to systematically develop the basic theory of twisted complex bundles, define for them Chern classes and derive the relationship of these new classes to the already well-known characteristic classes.
