Nematodes are abundant and fundamental group of soil organisms and they are important for keeping soil quality. They are suitable as test organisms for environmental toxicity testing and as bioindicators of soil quality for they properties. Hlístice sú početnou skupinou pôdnych organizmov a sú významné pre udržiavanie kvality pôdy a pôdneho ekosystému. Pre svoje vlastnosti sú vhodnými testovacími organizmami v testoch toxicity a bioindikátormi pôdnej kvality. Práca sa zaoberá reprodukčným testom s hlísticou Caenorhabditis elegans.
