V teoretické části se tato diplomová práce zabývá staršími metodami, které komunikační metodě předcházely a historií oboru čeština pro cizince a angličtina pro cizince. Praktická část se potom zaměřuje na analýzu a vyhodnocení čtyř učebnic češtiny pro cizince z hlediska moderních vyučovacích metod, se zaměřením na komunikační metodu. The theoretical part of this diploma thesis deals with the antecedent methods to Communicative method and with the history of English language as a foreign language and Czech language as a foreign language.
