Rudolf Steiner and waldorf schools

Abstract:

At the beginning of my thesis I dealt with the personality of Rudolf Steiner, who is considered as a founder of the waldorf school. I must through Steiner's life and mentioned his significant works. In more detail I look at his relation to the waldorf pedagogy. The second chapter focus of the theoretical part is on the main problem of the thesis, which is the waldorf school. As far as the waldorf school is concerned, I dealt with the origin, development and characteristics of this type of school. I high lighted the targets of the waldorf pedagogy and the way the teachers and parents interact with the school. Next I described the teaching plan and its structure. The fifth subchapter of the waldorf school concentrates on teaching foreign languages. The sixth and seventh subchapter of the waldorf school is devoted to the inner organization of the teaching and to the management of the waldorf school. The practical part presents in current the discussions about the waldorf schools, which reflect positive opinions and also criticisms of the people involved in teaching in the waldorf schools or waldorf kindergartens. The next subchapter gives statistical data resulting from the discussions. I introduced the Waldorf school in Pilsen in the last subchapture of the practical part and also I describe what a typical day in the waldorf school looks like. This includes observing the teaching in classes and making comparisons between a classical basic school and the concept of Steiner. In this subchapture I also added some frequently asked questions and other interesting comments.

Abstract:

Na začátku mé práce jsem se zabýval osobností Rudolfa Steinera, který je označován jako zakladatel waldorfské školy. Krátce jsem popsal jeho život a připomněl jeho důležitá díla. Detailněji jsem se zaměřil na jeho vztah k waldorfské pedagogice. Druhá kapitola teoretické části je zaměřena na hlavní problém práce, což je waldorfská škola. Osvětlil jsem cíle waldorfské pedagogiky a jakým způsobem jsou učitelé a rodiče spjati se školou. Dále jsem popsal učební plán a jeho strukturu. Pátá podkapitola waldorfské školy je soustředěna na výuku cizích jazyků. Šestá a sedmá podkapitola waldorfské školy je zaměřena na vnitřní organizaci výuky a vedení školy. Praktická část je soustředěna na diskuzi o waldorfských školách, která uvádí pozitivní názory a kritiku výuky v této škole. Další podkapitola uvádí statistické výsledky z diskuze. V poslední podkapitole praktické části jsem poreferoval o Waldorfské škole v Plzni a také popsal, jak vypadá typický den v této škole. Do této podkapitoly jsem také zahrnul srovnání s klasickou základní školou a konceptem podle Steinera. Na konci jsem uvedl často kladené otázky lidí a jiné zajímavé komentáře.
