Tato diplomová práce se zabývá činností komunální samosprávy v Brně, na konkrétním příkladu místních národních výborů v Komárově a v Horních Heršpicích. V práci je popsán vznik a následný vývoj těchto institucí. Hlavní část tvoří popis jednotlivých oblastí, které měly tyto výbory na starost během prvních poválečných měsíců. This thesis is concerned with the activities of Brno´s municipal self-governments demonstrating their work on specific example Local People´s Committees in Komárov and Horní Heršpice.
