Theatre Culture in the Usti Region

Abstract:

Divadlo patřilo v dějinách lidstva k nejvýznamnějším složkám kultury a svoji pozici neztratilo ani s nástupem nových médií (filmu, rozhlasu, televize a internetu). Divadelními centry jsou mimo Prahu též některá velká města např. Plzeň, Brno, Ostrava atd., velký význam však mají též divadelní scény ve všech regionech. Ve své bakalářské práci se zaměřuji na divadelní kulturu v Ústeckém kraji, ve kterém kromě významných stálých scén (Ústí nad Labem, Most) působí celá řada divadel, nabízejících moderní formu určenou i pro menší počet diváků. V době tvorby této závěrečné práce prožívá divadelní scéna v souvislosti s pandemií Covid-19 i v našem regionu hlubokou krizi. Snažila jsem se, aby tento stav nenaboural celou koncepci práce, i když mu též věnuji část vytvořeného textu a doplňuji tak stanovený cíl. Cílem bakalářské práce je vymezit postavení divadelní kultury v Ústeckém kraji a vyhodnotit dopad pandemie covid-19 na realizaci těchto aktivit v tomto regionu.

Abstract:

Theater was one of the most important components of culture in the history of mankind and did not lose its position even with the advent of new media (film, radio, television and the Internet). Apart from Prague, some large cities, such as Pilsen, Brno, Ostrava, etc., are also theater centers, but theater stages in all regions are also of great importance. In my bachelor's thesis I focus on theater culture in the Ústí nad Labem region, in which, in addition to important permanent stages (Ústí nad Labem, Most), there are a number of theaters offering a modern form designed for a smaller number of spectators. At the time of creating this final work, the theater scene is experiencing a deep crisis in connection with the Covid-19 pandemic in our region. I tried not to break this state of the whole concept of the work, even though I also dedicate a part of the created text to it and thus complete the set goal. The aim of the bachelor thesis is to define the position of theater culture in the Ústí nad Labem region and evaluate the impact of the covid-19 pandemic on the implementation of these activities in this region.
