The thesis Teaching the LFC Through Jenkins's 5-step Programme - an Empirical Study focuses on a course which I taught in the winter of 2015, and where I taught the lingua franca core and a variety of L1 accents of English to a team of IT telephone support workers in order to improve their intelligibility and passive knowledge of the accents of British English.
