Life on Screen: Representation of biographical film in Julian Schnabel directing style.
Abstract:
Tato práce je zaměřená na na neoformalistickou analýzu filmu Basquiat od režiséra Juliana Schnabela. Na počátku práce definuji základní teoretický aparát, pomocí něhož později provedu neoformalistickou analýzu filmu. V práci rovněž zkoumám historické okonlosti vzniku filmu. Samotný závěr věnuji hledání dominanty filmu Basquiat.
Abstract:
This thesis is focused on biographical film Basquiat, directed by Julian Schnabel in 1996. It is his first movie, before that he was a painter. Conclusions in this text are results from neoformalistic analysis, which concept was described by Kristin Thompson and David Bordwell.
