Tato práce se zabývá hudební tvorbou amerického umělce Sufjana Stevense se zaměřením na jeho hudební album ?Come On Feel the Illinoise?. Práce zasadí album do kontextu světové a americké folkové hudby a představí nám pojem folkové hudby i kultury jako celku a v rámci regionu vztahujícího se k tomuto albu.
