Abstract:

Cílem práce je analyzovat globální finanční krizi z roku 2008, její příčiny, průběh a uplatněné hospodářské politiky s ní související s důrazem na přístup Irska a Islandu. Práce hodnotní makroekonomické dopady zmíněných proměnných, hodnotí je a vyvozuje které metody nejlépe slouží k obnově ekonomiky. Teoretická část se skládá ze tří částí. První část je věnována hospodářskému cyklu obecně. Zaměřuje se tak na jeho typický průběh, znaky a historii. Následující kapitola se zaměřuje na hlavní ekonomické školy zabývající se hospodářskými cykly. Je zde rozebráno keynesiánství a jeho podvětve, monetarismus a rakouská ekonomická škola. Závěrečná kapitola obsahuje kritické zhodnocení každé ze škol a syntézu teoretických předpokladů pro praktickou část. Praktická část práce se skládá ze tří částí. První část popisuje počátky krize ve světě a dopady krize na světovou a evropskou ekonomiku. Následující část se věnuje podrobné analýze vývoje, příčin, průběhu, dopadů a hospodářských politik během krize v Irsku a na Islandu. Závěrečná část práce porovnává výsledky zjištění z analýzy Irska a Islandu a vyvozuje z nich hospodářskopolitická doporučení.

Abstract:

The aim of this paper is to analyse the global financial crisis of 2008, its causes, its course, and the economic policies applied in relation to it, with an emphasis on the approach of Ireland and Iceland. The thesis assesses the macroeconomic impact of the variables mentioned, evaluates them, and concludes which methods best serve the recovery of the economy. The theoretical part consists of three parts. The first part is devoted to the business cycle in general. It focuses on its typical course, features, and history. The following section focuses on the main economic schools dealing with business cycles. Keynesianism and its sub-branches, monetarism and the Austrian school of economics are discussed. The final chapter gives a critical evaluation of each he schools and provides a synthesis of the theoretical assumptions for the practical part. The practical part of the thesis consists of three parts. The first part describes the origins of the crisis in the world and the effects of the crisis on the world and European economy. The following part provides a detailed analysis of the development, causes, course, impacts and economic policies during the crisis in Ireland and Iceland. The final part of the thesis compares the findings of the analysis of Ireland and Iceland and draws economic policy recommendations.
