Parallelisms and Transpositions of Genres: Poetry and Graphic Art of Bohuslav Reynek

Abstract:

Práce pojednává o grafickém a literárním díle Bohuslava Reynka a interpretuje tak zvanou tvůrčí estetiku autora se zvláštním zřetelem na přenos uměleckých intencí z média literatury do média výtvarného umění. Porovnává výrazový jazyk obou uměleckých médií. Reynkův osobní osud je natolik důležitý pro pochopení jeho tvorby, že se pojednání nemůže vyhnout ani biografickým výkladům, pokud jsou relevantní. Práce postihuje dva určující faktory jeho díla: prvním je vztah k rodnému Petrkovu a umělcovo hluboké sepjetí s tímto místem, druhým je Reynkova vše prostupující víra v platnost křesťanského zjevení. Práce analyzuje příznačnou dvoudomost umělecké tvorby Bohuslava Reynka, stejně jako přirozenou jednotu autorova života a díla.

Abstract:

This thesis analyzes both graphic and literary work of Bohuslav Reynek. It reconstructs the author's so-called creative aesthetics, and therefore it puts the expressive means of both media into comparison. Author’s personal life is also important for understanding of his work, so the diploma cannot avoid biographical informations in case that they are applicable. The diploma describes the two determining aspects of his composition. The first to mention is author’s relationship to his hometown Petrkov and the deep commitment to that place; the second following is Reynek’s ubiquitous faith in Christian relevation. Furthermore, it tries to interpret the double creative fantasy in poetry and painting with the deep unity of author´s life and work.
