Tereza Boučková: Indiánský běh. Names of persons: shapes, functions and symbology

Abstract:

Práce se zabývá vlastními jmény a jejich funkcemi v literárním textu. Tyto poznatky se snaží aplikovat na konkrétní dílo Terezy Boučkové Indiánský běh. Práce si klade za cíl: a) objasnit podstatu vlastních jmen, jejich vzniku a užívání; b) teoreticky vymezit oblast a pole působnosti onomastiky, jakožto vědy zabývající se studiem vlastních jmen; c) popsat funkce vlastních jmen v literárních textech; d) popsat vývoj a teorii literární onomastiky; e) analyzovat vlastní jména v tomto díle, s ohledem na jejich tvary, funkce a symboliku

Abstract:

This work deals with proper names and their functions in a literary text. These findings are trying to apply to a specific work by Tereza Boučková Indiánský běh.Work aims to: a) explain the nature of proper names, their origin and use; b) theoretically determine the scope and sphere of action of onomastics as science dealing with the study of proper names; c) describe the functions of proper names in literary texts; d) describe the evolution of theory of literary onomastics; e) analyse proper names in this work with regard to their shapes, functions and symbology
