Práce se zabývá vývojem pohledu na Spojené státy v Československu v letech 1945-1950. Jako hlavní pramen byl použit týdeník Svět v obrazech. Jejím cílem je zjistit, zda byl pohled na Spojené státy konstantní, nebo se měnil. V případě konstantního názoru je cílem zjistit, zda byl negativního, pozitivního nebo neutrálního charakteru. The work deals with the development view on the United States in Czechoslovakia in the years 1945-1950. As the main source was used weekly magazine Svět v obrazech. Its target is to determine whether view on the United States was constant or it was changing. In the case of a constant view discover, whether was negative, positive or neutral character.
