Abstract:

Enterprise Architecture je zatím nejvyšším vývojovým krokem architektonického popisu podniku oddělením IT. Nejprve existovala pouze technologická architektura. S rostoucí komplexitou IT však rychle vznikly další oblasti, které bylo potřeba zmapovat, jako jsou informace anebo aplikace. IT pak zjistilo, že je ještě potřeba přidat business pohled k IT architekturám a z toho důvodu vznikla disciplína Enterprise Architecture. Strategický management je klíčový pro budoucí vývoj každého podniku. Diplomová práce se soustředí na strategický management businessu a strategický management IT. Strategický management businessu se skládá z business strategie a z operačního modelu. Ke strategickému managementu IT pak patří informační strategie a IT governance. Business-IT alignment dále zkoumá a zajišťuje soulad mezi strategickým managementem businessu a strategickým managementem IT. Cílem práce je popsat vztah mezi Enterprise Architecture a různými formami strategického managementu a vyjádřit, v jaké míře je Enterprise Architecture podporuje. Zkoumané vztahy jsou: - Vztah Enterprise Architecture a business strategie - Vztah Enterprise Architecture a operačního modelu - Vztah Enterprise Architecture a informační strategie - Vztah Enterprise Architecture a IT governance - Vztah Enterprise Architecture a business-IT alignmentu Cíle jsou v práci dosaženy prostřednictvím teoretického výzkumu a následného usuzování. Osobní přínos autora spočívá ve vytvoření hierarchického modelu Enterprise Architecture, v definici reakcí Enterprise Architecture na business strategii, v modifikaci metodiky MMDIS co se týče informační strategie, v prokázání, jak Enterprise Architecture lze využít v IT governance, ve znázornění, kde Enterprise Architecture přispívá k business-IT alignmentu a v určení, v jaké míře Enterprise Architecture podporuje jednotlivé formy strategického managementu.

Abstract:

Enterprise Architecture is so far the highest development step in IT's architectural description of enterprises. At the beginning, just technological architecture existed. However, with the quickly growing complexity of IT other domains occurred, that had to be described. Information or application architectures can serve as examples. IT then realized, that it needed to add to its IT architectures a business view and consequently the discipline Enterprise Architecture came into being. Strategic management is crucial for the development of each enterprise. The thesis focuses on the strategic management of business and the strategic management of IT. The strategic management of business consists of a business strategy and an operating model. To the strategic management of IT then belongs an information strategy and IT governance. Business-IT alignment further explores and ensures the accord between the strategic management of business and the strategic management of IT. The aim of the thesis is to describe the relationship of Enterprise Architecture and the different forms of strategic management and to express to which rate Enterprise Architecture supports them. The explored relationships are: - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and business strategy - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and operating models - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and information strategy - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and IT governance - The relationship of Enterprise Architecture and business-IT alignment The goals of the thesis are reached via theoretical research and subsequent deduction. The author's personal asset consists of creating a hierarchical model of Enterprise Architecture, of defining Enterprise Architecture's reaction to business strategies, of modifying the methodology MMDIS in respect of information strategy, of depicting, how Enterprise Architecture can be used in IT governance, of illustrating, where Enterprise Architecture contributes to business-IT alignment and of assessing, to which rate Enterprise Architecture supports the different forms of strategic management.

Abstract:

Enterprise Architecture ist die bis jetzt höchste Entwicklungsstufe der architektonischen Beschreibung von Unternehmen durch die IT Abteilung. Zuerst gab es nur die technologische Architektur. Mit der steigenden Komplexität von IT entstanden jedoch schnell neue Gebiete, welche ebenfalls beschrieben werden mussten, wie zum Beispiel Informationen oder Anwendungen. IT stellte dann fest, dass zu den IT Architekturen noch eine Business-Sicht hinzugefügt werden musste und aus diesem Grund entstand die Disziplin Enterprise Architecture. Strategisches Management ist entscheidend für die Entwicklung eines jeden Unternehmens. Die Diplomarbeit konzentriert sich auf das strategische Management des Unternehmens und auf das strategische Management von IT. Zum strategischen Management des Unternehmens gehört die Unternehmensstrategie und das Operationsmodell. Zum strategischen Management von IT gehört die Informationsstrategie und IT Governance. Das Business-IT Alignment untersucht danach den Einklang zwischen strategischem Management des Unternehmens und strategischem Management von IT. Ziel der Arbeit ist die Beschreibung des Verhältnisses von Enterprise Architecture und den verschiedenen Formen von strategischem Management und darüber hinaus untersucht sie, zu welchem Grad Enterprise Architecture die Formen unterstützt. Die einzelnen Verhältnisse sind: - Das Verhältnis von Enterprise Architecture und der Unternehmensstrategie - Das Verhältnis von Enterprise Architecture und dem Operationsmodell - Das Verhältnis von Enterprise Architecture und der Informationsstrategie - Das Verhältnis von Enterprise Architecture und IT Governance - Das Verhältnis von Enterprise Architecture und dem Business-IT Alignment Die Ziele werden durch theoretische Untersuchungen und anschließende Folgerungen erreicht. Der persönliche Beitrag des Autors besteht im erstellen eines hierarchischen Modells der Enterprise Architecture, in der Definition der Reaktion von Enterprise Architecture auf Unternehmensstrategien, in der Modifikation der Methodik MMDIS in Bezug auf ihre Informationsstrategie, im Beweis, wie man Enterprise Architecture in der IT Governance benutzen kann, in der Veranschaulichung, wo Enterprise Architecture zum Business-IT Alignment beiträgt und in der Feststellung, zu welchem Grad Enterprise Architecture die einzelnen Formen des strategischen Managements unterstützt.
