Abstract:

Tato práce se zabývá problematikou pečetění fisur a jamek. Pečetění je metoda založená na preventivním zaplnění fisur a jamek molárů a premolárů s cílem ochránit tato predilekční místa před vznikem a rozvojem zubního kazu. V teoretické části této práce je popsána obecná charakteristika zubů a jejich vývoj a problematika vzniku a výskytu zubního kazu s přihlédnutím ke kazu na okluzních plochách. Poslední blok teoretické části se věnuje samotnému pečetění fisur, jeho indikacím, kontraindikacím, materiálům, metodám a diagnostice fisur. Praktická část práce popisuje výsledky dotazníkového šetření určeného zubním lékařům a dentálním hygienistkám k problematice pečetění. Cílem této práce je shrnutí současných poznatků týkajících se pečetění fisur a jamek a zjištění, zda má toto preventivní opatření své opodstatnění, dlouhodobý význam, a podporu odborníků na území České Republiky.

Abstract:

This work deals with the topic of pits and fissures sealing. Sealing is a method based on the precautionary filling of the pits and fissures of molars and premolars to protect these predilection sites before the formation and expansion of dental cavities. The theoretical part of this thesis describes the general characteristics of teeth and their development, problems of formation, and expansion of dental cavities with regard to cavities on occlusal surfaces. The last section of the theoretical part is devoted to fissure sealing itself, its indications, contraindications, materials, and methods of fissure diagnosis. The practical part describes the results of a questionnaire designed for dentists and dental hygienists regarding the issue of sealing. The aim of this thesis is to summarize the current knowledge regarding the pits and fissures sealing and determine whether that preventive measures warranted the long-term significance and support professionals in the Czech Republic.
