Tato práce se zabývá cestováním mladých lidí od 15 do 29 let. Zkoumá jejich preference při cestování tak, aby mohla být identifikována specifika turismu této generace. V teoretické části jsou shrnuty poznatky o cestovním ruchu a jeho účastnících, základních i specifických formách turismu, změnách v nákupním chování cestujících a také o tom, jak lze profil mladého cestovatele vymezit. This thesis deals with the travel of young people from 15 to 29 years. It examines their travel preferences in order to identify the tourist specifics of this generation. The theoretical part sums up the knowledge of tourism and its participants, basic and specific types of tourism, changes in consumer behaviour and creating the profile of young traveller.
