Evaluation of financial health of the Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. company

Abstract:

Cílem bakalářské práce je zhodnocení finančního zdraví společnosti Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. Ke zhodnocení finančního zdraví použiji finanční analýzu. Zdroje, za kterých jsou čerpána data pro vypracování finanční analýzy jsou účetní uzávěrky společnosti Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. Finanční analýza bude vypracována pro časové období 2015–2019, tedy 5 let. V teoretické části budou uvedeny definice finanční analýzy, účel finanční analýzy, uživatele finanční analýzy a zdroje finanční analýzy. Dále budou v praktické části popsané nástroje finanční analýzy. V praktické části se budu věnovat vypracováním zmíněných nástrojů z teoretické části, tedy horizontální a vertikální analýzy, ukazatelů rentability, likvidity, zadluženosti a aktivity, bankrotních a bonitních modelů a jako poslední srovnáním Kofoly ČeskoSlovensko a.s. s odvětvím. V kapitole doporučení budou shrnuty silné a slabé stránky podniku a bude zde navržený postup, jak si silné stránky zachovat a slabé vyřešit.

Abstract:

The aim of this bachelor thesis is to evaluate the financial health of the Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. company. For this evaluation I am using financial analysis. The data I will be using are from the financial statements of the company. The financial analysis will be made for years 2015-2019. In theoretical part I will write about the definitions of financial analysis, the aim of financial analysis, users of financial analysis, the resources of financial analysis and the methods of financial analysis. In the practical part I will work out financial analysis using those very same methods – horizontal and vertical analysis, profitability, liquidity, indebtedness and activity indexes, bankruptcy and creditworthiness models and compare the results to the results of the industry. At the end, I will recommend how to solve the problems Kofola ČeskoSlovensko a.s. is facing and how to keep the strong sides of the company.
