Diplomová práce analyzuje základní cíle a hodnoty chráněné v současném mezinárodním právu.Následně se zabývá otázkou jejich ochrany a zejména jejich vynucením. Práce systematicky popisuje donucovací opatření v obecném mezinárodním právu a srovnává je s opatřeními, které poskytuje Charta OSN jako ústřední dokument pro otázky mezinárodního míru a bezpečnosti.
