Changes of concentrations of pollutants in soil during phytoremediation with Miscanthus x giganteus.

Abstract:

Cílem práce bylo hodnocení změny koncentrace těžkých kovů a ropných uhlovodíků v průběhu fytoremediace kontaminovaných půd ze starých vojenských prostorů na letišti v Mimoni. V současné době se různé výzkumné týmy z celého světa snaží dekontaminovat staré vojenské prostory od těžkých kovů a ropných látek, které v těchto lokalitách zůstaly po bývalých vojenských posádkách a jejich technice. V práci jsem sledoval úbytek, popřípadě nárůst koncentrace kontaminantů v půdách po proběhlé fytoremediaci s Miscanthus x giganteus. Dle naměřených hodnot lze usoudit, že dochází ke statistickému snížení koncentrace ropných uhlovodíků C10-C40, zatímco kovy dekontaminuje jenom některé a dochází k fytostabilizaci těchto kovů. U mědi, olova a zinku dochází ke zvyšování koncentrace těchto kovů v půdě.

Abstract:

The aim of the work was to evaluate the change in the concentration of heavy metals and petroleum hydrocarbons during the phytoremediation of contaminated soils from the old military premises at the Mimoni airport. At present, various research teams from around the world are trying to decontaminate the old military spaces from heavy metals and petroleum substances that have remained in these locations after former military crews and their techniques. At work I monitored the decrease or eventually the increase in the concentration of contaminants in soils after phytoremediation with Miscanthus x giganteus. Based on the measured values, it can be concluded that the C10-C40 petroleum hydrocarbons are statistically reduced, while only some metals decontaminate and phytostabilize these metals. In copper, lead and zinc there is an increase in the concentration of these metals in the soil.
