Providing nurse care in the handicapped patients.

Abstract:

V bakalářské práci se věnuji problematice poskytování oš. péče hendikepovaným pacientům. V teorii popisuji, co je to hendikep, kolik procent lidí v ČR je hendikepovaných. V další kapitole teoretické části se zabývám jednotlivými druhy hendikepu - tělesným, zrakovým, sluchovým, komunikačním, mentálním a poruchami chování. Zmiňuji se také o vymezení pojmu ošetřovatelská péče. V této kapitole se zaměřuji na to, co je to ošetřovatelská péče a o co se snaží. V poslední kapitole teoretické části jsou uvedeny standardy pro poskytování ošetřovatelské péče hendikepovaným pacientům. Jedná se o zvláštnosti v přístupu k hendikepovaným pacientům. Konkrétně zvláštnosti v oš. péči v přístupu k pacientům se zrakovým postižením, se sluchovým postižením, s pohybovým postižením, se syndromem demence, při ošetřování postiženého dítěte a zvláštnosti v přístupu ke geriatrickým pacientům se zdravotním postižením. Zaměřuji se na to, jak by měl zdravotnický personál k těmto lidem přistupovat. V praktické části bakalářské práce zkoumám, zda má zdravotnický personál v Nemocnici Teplice možnost plně poskytovat ošetřovatelskou péči hendikepovaným pacientům. Pro výzkum jsem si vybrala kvantitativní metodu dotazníku. Výsledky mého výzkumu jasně dosvědčují, že Nemocnice Teplice nemá všechny potřebné pomůcky a vybavení pro poskytování oš. péče hendikepovaným pacientům. Zdravotnický personál nemá možnost se této skupině pacientů plně věnovat, protože chybí dostatek času. Proto na závěr uvádím také doporučení pro praxi. Nemocnice by měla přijmout dostatečné množství vyškoleného personálu, který by se s hendikepovanými pacienty bez problémů domluvil, zařadit do vzdělávacích akcí kurzy Braillova písma a znakové řeči, vybudovat cesty pro nevidomé pacienty a také další alternativy, jak pobyt této skupině lidí v nemocnici zpříjemnit.

Abstract:

The thesis deals with the issue of handicap. The theory describes what a handicap is; the percentage of people in the CR is handicapped. The next chapter of the theoretical part deals with various kinds of handicaps - physical, visual, hearing, communication, mental and behavioral disorders. Well acquainted with the definition of the concept of nursing care. In this chapter I focus on what is nursing care. The last chapter of the theoretical part deals with standards for providing nursing care to handicapped patients. This is a special access to handicapped patients. Particularly in treating a patient with visual impairments, hearing impairments, mobility impairments, with dementia, taking care of handicapped children and special access to geriatric patients with disabilities. I focus on, how should medical personnel to treat these people. In my practical part of the thesis I research if the medical staff at Teplice Hospital is able to fully provide nursing care for handicapped patients. For my research, I have chosen a quantitative method of a questionnaire. The results of my research clearly testify that Teplice Hospital has all the necessary materials and equipment to provide IP. care for handicapped patients. On the other hand medical stuff do not have a chance to look after all these patiens properly, because there is not enough time. Therefore, I have some practical recommendations. Hospitals should hire a sufficient quantity of trained staff, who would be easily able to communicate with handicapped patiens.Educational activities, such as courses of Braille and sign language, should be included in hospital care as well. I think there is a big need of building up some pathes for blind patients, so their stay in hospital would be more comfortable and pleasant. All these activites should bring some positive change for this group of patients.
