Legal Status of Employees of EU Institutions

Abstract:

The aim of this thesis is to map in detail the legal status of employees of the European institutions. The thesis contains ten chapters which are used to define the principles of the EU civil service, to identify the institutional and legal framework, to describe the regulation of different forms of employment in European institutions, to analyse the taxation of employees, their social securities and the possibilities to resolve labor disputes between the employees and institutions.

Abstract:

Zámerom diplomovej práce je podrobne zmapovať problematiku právnej úpravy postavenia zamestnancov európskych inštitúcií. Práca má desať kapitol, prostredníctvom ktorých sa venuje zadefinovaniu zásad verejnej služby EÚ, určením jej inštitucionálneho a právneho rámca, úprave rozličných foriem zamestnávania v jednotlivých európskych inštitúciách, zdaňovaniu zamestnancov, ich sociálnemu zabezpečeniu a riešeniu pracovnoprávnych sporov medzi nimi a inštitúciami.
