Awareness of Primary School Pupils in the Areas of Fire Protection and Civil Protection

Abstract:

Cílem této diplomové práce je seznámení se základní problematiku výuky požární ochrany a ochrany obyvatelstva a znalostmi, které mají žáci základních škol v této oblasti. Práce vychází z praktických zkušeností, z pozice zaměstnance Hasičského záchranného sboru české republiky, které byly pozorovány během provádění preventivně výchovných činností na základních školách. Během této činnosti byly pozorovány nedostatečné znalosti v oblasti této problematiky. Dále tato práce vychází z praktických zkušeností ze služebního poměru u Hasičského záchranného sboru Karlovarského kraje a studia odborné literatury a legislativy zaměřené na danou problematiku. Diplomová práce je rozdělena do dvou hlavních kapitol a několika podkapitol. První kapitola je věnována teoretické části. V této části je vysvětleno vymezení základních pojmů, které jsou s řešenou problematikou spojeny. Druhá kapitola je zaměřena na praktickou část, ve které budou stanoveny tři výzkumné otázky; Jsou aktuální podklady k výuce a profesní úroveň vyučujících v oblastech ochrany obyvatelstva a požární ochrany na základních školách dostatečné a vyhovující, Dosahuje úroveň znalostí žáků základních škol v oblastech ochrany obyvatelstva a požární ochrany minimálně 60 %, Je znalostí úroveň žáků základních škol v oblastech ochrany obyvatelstva a požární ochrany stejná jako u žáků gymnázií a speciálních škol. Závěrečná část práce se věnuje vyhodnocení stanovených výzkumných otázek.

Abstract:

The aim of this master thesis is to introduce the basic issues of teaching fire and life safety and the knowledge that primary school students have in this area. The thesis is based on practical experience as an employee of the Fire Rescue Service of the Czech Republic, which was observed during the implementation of preventive educational activities in primary schools. During this activity, insufficient knowledge in the field of this issue was observed. Furthermore, this thesis is based on practical experience from the service in the Fire Rescue Service of the Karlovy Vary Region and the study of professional literature and legislation focused on this issue. The thesis is divided into two main chapters and several subchapters. The first chapter is devoted to the theoretical part. This part explains the definition of the basic concepts that are related to the problem. The second chapter is focused on the practical part, in which three research questions will be set; Are the current teaching materials and the professional level of teachers in the areas of population protection and fire protection in primary schools sufficient and satisfactory, Does the level of knowledge of primary school pupils in the areas of population protection and fire protection reach at least 60%, Is the level of knowledge of primary school pupils in the areas of population protection and fire protection the same as that of pupils in grammar schools and special schools. The final part of the thesis is devoted to the evaluation of the set research questions.
