Essential oils of Clove and Cinnamon
Abstract:
Diplomová práce popisuje rostliny hřebíčku a skořice, jejich chemické složení, biologické vlastnosti a způsoby izolace esenciálních olejů z rostlinného materiálu. Pomocí plynové chromatografie je porovnáno složení komerčně dostupných esenciálních olejů spolu s izolovanými oleji z hřebíčku a skořice získaných metodou hydrodestilace.
Abstract:
The thesis describes clove and cinnamon plants, their chemical composition, biological properties and methods of isolation of essential oils from plant material. Using gas chromatography, the composition of commercially available essential oils is compared with isolated oils from clove and cinnamon obtained by hydrodistillation.
