The Korean War and American Alliance Politics in East Asia

The aim of authors work is to evaluate the impact of Korean War on creation of U.S. defense perimeter in East Asia. Core importance is aimed at 3 states - Japan, Republic of Korea, Taiwan - their relations with USA before and after the war together with the meaning of official security treaties is analyzed throughout the text. Cieľom práce je overenie a zhodnotenie vplyvu Kórejskej vojny na proces formovania aliančného systému USA vo Východnej Ázii, t.j. "obranného perimetra". Pre tieto účely budú analyzované štáty - Japonsko, Južná Kórea a Taiwan ; konkrétne ich vzťahy s USA pred a po vojne na Kórejskom polostrove s dôrazom na oficiálne bezpečnostné zmluvy uzavreté v 50. rokoch so západnou superveľmocou.
